The "Media Village" for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games was located here. After the Olympic Games, the superior geographical location and the famous name made many owners of "Media Village" rent their houses for profit, so that there were more than 2,400 rented houses, more than 1,200 small companies and more than 200 shops within the jurisdiction of 0.8 square kilometers, and the problems brought about by it, such as the sudden increase of floating population, many hidden dangers in community safety and great management difficulties, became chronic diseases here. Doing what she says, loving learning and willing to study, she draws lessons from the "listening, hearing and asking questions" of traditional Chinese medicine, and innovatively establishes a "six-step" working method, that is, "listening face to face", and taking advantage of opportunities such as home visits, holding symposiums and organizing activities to listen to people’s feedback on the spot and grasp first-hand information in real time. "Comprehensive and key two-handed inspection", through the combination of comprehensive inspection and key inspection, the ledger is built in different categories, and the bills are sold step by step. "Always publicize safety precautions", and improve people’s self-help ability by setting up publicity stations, posting posters, giving safety lectures, distributing manuals and fire drills. With concurrently serving as the deputy secretary of the community, Qi Jing is more actively involved in the work of eliminating diseases. She discussed with the community party committee to set up 12 "mini-fire stations" in key areas, equipped with protective clothing, self-rescue breathing apparatus, rescue ropes, demolition axes, hoses and other fire-fighting equipment, and encouraged property security officers to carry out the duty of mini-fire stations, and set up a 24-hour emergency response team with five people in each group, which added a reliable layer of security to the community.
Once, a fire broke out in a resident’s home in the jurisdiction. " In view of the prominent characteristics of contradictions and disputes between community merchants and residents, with the support of community party committees, she has influenced all functional departments in the community to carry out investigation and resolution of contradictions and disputes. At one time, recruitment agencies in the community clustered together, and people often reported that the other party refused to find a job and could not get the deposit back. These companies tend to be extremely deep and well-prepared, and they all evade the law. To this end, Qi Jing carefully studied the relevant laws, and then took fire inspection as a breakthrough to interview the person in charge of the company. For those who still go their own way, she has influenced the industrial and commercial office and the labor inspection team to carry out joint law enforcement, which has saved economic losses for more than 20 people. This summer, Qi Jing helped dozens of college students to get back their deposits. On the basis of fully collecting and fixing relevant evidence, Qi Jing resolutely cracked down on companies suspected of violating laws and crimes and their responsible persons. Now, such companies have disappeared in the "media village".
Since serving concurrently as the deputy secretary, Qi Jing has fully relied on the mechanism of "whistling in the streets and townships and reporting to the departments" and joined forces with safety supervision, industry and commerce, labor inspection, urban management, fire protection and other departments to jointly enforce the law, so that the cases of fraud, disorder, gambling and pornography in the community have all dropped to "zero". As the saying goes, a hero has three gangs. To manage the community well, it is far from enough to rely solely on community police. Qi Jing pondered that there are more than 300 security guards in the community. Why not establish a joint logistics linkage mechanism to mobilize these security guards and build a professional security force? With the support of the community party committee, with the security team as a template, she expanded and set up 13 teams, including the "six-package team" in front of the door, the environmental protection team, the public security patrol and so on, to mobilize the community party member, the security activists and the enthusiastic masses. In particular, the public security patrol composed of 80 old party member, wearing red riding hood and red armband in groups of five, conducts voluntary patrols in key sections of the community at night, which constitutes a beautiful landscape of the community.
Once, Qi Jing learned that there was an aunt Wang in the community who planted vegetables and placed flowerpots under the window on the first floor, which not only hindered the neighbors from traveling, but also affected the environment.
