According to the feeling of static experience, G318 has done quite well in space utilization. After the front main driving position is adjusted, the head and leg space in the back row are close to two punches (height 176mm).

The rear seats are well supported, the cushion length is sufficient, and the floor is flat. The only drawback is that in order to take care of the flatness of the seat after folding, the back seat cushion is relatively straight and the thickness is average.

The storage space of the trunk of G318 is 818L, and the internal space is square, which is convenient for storage. The rear seat can be expanded to 1747L after being laid down, but the position of the rotating shaft is slightly raised after the rear seat is laid down, and the backrest also has a certain slope.

There is a 220V two-phase and three-phase power interface near the tailgate in the trunk, an air suspension control button on the left side that can reduce the convenience of taking things from the car body, and four circular anchor points that are convenient for self-expanding the fixed rope.

There are 31 storage spaces in the G318 car, and there are also some special designs for off-road scenes. The central armrest storage box is internally provided with air conditioning vents, and there is a large hollowing under the armrest platform. The upper layer is a 50W mobile phone wireless charging board and a cup holder with a cover, and the lower storage compartment is provided with three USB ports (two A ports and one C port) and a TF memory card slot.

The passenger glove box is large and regular, and there is a small hook on the left. When the four doors are opened, you can see the handlebars. The front row is located at the outermost position of the instrument panel, and the rear row is located at the inner side of the window edge of the B-pillar. The storage box under the car door has a considerable volume, and the left and right rear doors are respectively provided with USB power interfaces. The storage compartment inside the tailgate is very wide, and the middle is also limited.

Highlight 3: Extended range power and high-end chassis configuration

The torsional stiffness of G318′ s body reaches 45 000 N m/deg, and the data is bright, which helps to maintain good deformation resistance in complex terrain. This is also the emboldened spirit of Deep Blue who dares to shout "Who said that hard-core cross-country must have girders". However, it is undeniable that there is still a gap between G318 and some hard-core off-road vehicles with girders in terms of passability indicators.

G318 adopts the latest extended range power system of Deep Blue, with a 1.5T range extender, with a maximum power of 110kW. It is worth mentioning that this is a set of rear drive-based system. The rear motor power of the two-wheel drive version is 185kW, and the front motor of the four-wheel drive version is increased by 131kW, and the comprehensive power reaches 316kW. The whole system is equipped with 35.07kWh lithium iron phosphate battery.

The suspension configuration of G318 is really high-grade. It adopts the structure of front double wishbone and rear five-links. The front all-aluminum double wishbone is equipped with hydraulic bushing, and the air spring and CDC adjustable damping shock absorber are equipped to realize the adjustable height and hardness of the chassis.

Deep Blue Auto also said that in the future, G318 will upgrade the "smart magic carpet" function of real-time adjustment of suspension hardness by scanning the road information in front of the camera. In addition, according to the previously exposed test car video, the G318 can realize the function of "turning around in place" by locking the rear wheel.

Finally, the interior design is supplemented. The shooting car is not open for display because the car is not the final version, and the interior is not completely black. The material of the real car is acceptable, but the visual effect is really average. The official interior map released in the later period shows the optional green/gold stitching interior, with a luxurious style. In addition, the 14.6-inch central control panel shows some vehicle interfaces, such as vehicle off-road mode control.

Hard-core off-road vehicles with girders are good, but real hard-core off-road enthusiasts are still a minority in the market.
