The Beauty of China’s Makeup is based on ancient paintings, sculptures and murals, supplemented by poems and classics, showing the details of China’s ancient makeup, discussing the status of women in past dynasties and oriental aesthetics, and recreating the beauty of women’s makeup in past dynasties in China with 29 sets of real makeup restoration pictures.
