  Vigorously promote the way of work instead of relief in small and medium-sized agricultural and rural infrastructure projects

  The National Development and Reform Commission, together with the departments of transportation, water conservancy, agriculture and rural areas, cultural tourism, forestry and grass, has instructed all localities to widely adopt the mode of "work instead of relief" in the field of small and medium-sized agricultural and rural infrastructure, so as to further amplify the effect of "relief". In the first half of 2023, 28 provinces promoted "work-for-relief" in more than 5,700 small and medium-sized agricultural and rural infrastructure projects, absorbing 240,000 migrant workers and paying 1.44 billion yuan in labor remuneration.
